Morning all!
Well, I've decided to update this morning after my sister inadvertently reminding me it was here on the phone!
Once I get used to this thing I'll figure out how to change the name of each post and name them!
Right, I suppose I'd better give a bit of background seeing as I'm new around here.
My name is Ailsa, I'm 21 (ok 27) and I live with my husband and 2 kids in Cumbria. I'll probably talk about weird dreams I have as well as the comings and goings in our tropical fish tanks! The latest news being that we gained 6 mollies last week after a speckled coloured one had babies! They're doing really well and growing immensely by the day! We currently have a pregnant orange molly who's hiding behind the filter an awful lot, sparking excitement that she'll soon be ready to drop! We also have a black molly that has velvet disease at the moment, but there's treatment in the water so that should clear up soon, hopefully!
Another thing I shall be updating on regularly is my recent venture into learning to drive! I've taken 3 lessons so far, the last one being the worst so far! It was 6:30pm when I went out, so it was literally pitch black, it was raining and where I went was also misty. I wasn't feeling my most confident due to the conditions I was attempting to drive in, and I almost wiped us out going through traffic lights when trying to change gears! I couldn't find the gear I wanted and my hand slipped on the steering wheel slightly so we ended up heading straight towards a wagon coming the other way! Oops... Thankfully, this weeks lesson is during the day so I should be able to see where I am going, although my instructor said she's going to take me into town. Yikes! All that stopping and starting, I can see me stalling most of the time! Anyway, I shall update on that once it's happened. I'm not letting on when my lessons are each week though, that way no-one knows I'm on the road and they can't put me off!!
Right, it's time I was off, I've got plenty things to do before I head off to work this afternoon.
