Oh Man...

It just hasn't been my day today and I'll be glad when it's over! First of all, we were heading out at 8.45am and I couldn't find my son's jacket anywhere! Luckily it wasn't cold, so he simply took a jumper with his today and thankfully it's been nice all day.

Next, when I was at work, I ended up dropping a shelf on my sore foot which flipping well hurt! Oh, and I've just remembered that I forgot to take my tablet for said problem at teatime. D'oh!

Once we got back home again I searched high and low and STILL couldn't find the jacket! My only guess is that I've recycled it by accident over the weekend because he definitely brought it home on Friday, but it was in a carrier bag and I can't remember hanging it up. It's not all that important because it only just fit him anyway, but it had a zip buddy on it that my parents had brought him back from their holidays this Summer! Hopefully there wasn't anything in the pockets either! I'm absolutely gutted. He's quite happy though because it meant we had to go buy him a new one in time for school tomorrow.

My latest faux pas came a little earlier on tonight. I'd bought hubby some new hair clippers the other week and we finally got around to trying them out just before he was going out to darts. What can I say about them..? They were rubbish!! Thank god I didn't chuck the old ones out because they were absolutely hopeless! They were cordless and rechargeable but they didn't cut half as close as the old ones and seemed to miss loads along the way so I decided that I was going to take them back! Hhmmm... Easier said than done! I only bought them about 3 weeks ago and I can't find the receipt! I've got a box in a cupboard that I keep all receipts in, but for some reason, this one has gone missing! Isn't it flaming typical?!

Oh well, only another 100 minutes to go and this day will be over. Thank god!!
